  12. and disease as well as sin. According to its
  13. adherents, Christian Science healing is
  14. brought about by the operation of truth in
  15. human conscience. There is no ordained
  16. priesthood, but there are public
  17. practitioners of Christian Science healing
  18. who are officially authorized. The
  19. headquarters of the First Church of Christ,
  20. Scientist is in Boston, Massachusetts, with
  21. branches in most parts of the world. The
  22. textbook of Christian Science is Eddy's
  23. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
